Quadratic equation

An equation in the form of ax2 + bx + c = 0 where 'a' is not equal to zero is called the quadratic equation and the number a, b, and c are called the coefficients of the equations. For example, 5x2 + 4x + 8 = 0, 7x2 = x - 7, (x -7)2  are all quadratic equations.
