Polynomial: An expression is in the form of a0xn + a1xn-1 + ……. + an is known as a polynomial of degree n where a0 0, a0, a1….an are the real numbers and a polynomial in x can be denoted by p(x). The highest power of x in p(x) is called the degree of the polynomial. For example, x2 + 4, x3 – 9, x5 + 4x3 – 3x2 + x – 2 are the polynomial.
